Since 1978, he has been working as a strategic design consultant for companies and government agencies.

He has directed strategic plans for integrated design to business development and teritorial for international entities in particular in Spain with the local administrations of Castilla La Mancha, Canary Islands, Bilbao and Galicia.

He was a teacher and later director of the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan and Madrid. He founded and directed the IED Research Centre.

Speaker at conferences and conferences at Universities and Research Centres in Europe, United States, Canada, Latin America, Australia and Asia. Visiting Professor at ECAL Lausanne, DUOC Santiago de Chile, Federico Santa Maria Technical University of Valparaiso, Chile and Tecnologico de Monterrey Campos de Guadalajara, Mexico. He has been lecturer at the Politecnico di Milano, Faculty of Industrial Design.

He is Associate Professor at the Facultè de l'amènagement, Ecole de design industriel (Montreal, Canada)

Since 1998, he has been co-founder and director of Design Innovation Milan, Italy and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

He has developed projects and research for: Fiat Research Centre, Fiat Auto, Piaggio, Indesit Company, ROSSS, Tensoforma, Ariete, Autostrade Centropadane, Herman Miller, ARGO Tractors, EME Posaterie, SOFAR.

  • Advanced Design
  • Bionic: identification of scenarios, technological trends, study of functional solutions in nature
  • Analysis and research of new materials, with particular attention to issues related to perceived quality
  • Urban quality and landscape design
  • Process design and design management
