Photography Careers In The Digital Age Executive Education Course | 5 Months

Director: Prof. Gianni Canova - Coordinator: Paola Bergna

This programme aims to train professional photographers who will stand out not only for their mastery of the technique, but above all due to their ability to come up with photographic ideas and identify significant content. Thanks to the solid methodological and theoretical foundations provided by this Executive Education course, students will be able to develop a complete, professional identity that they can call their own, and they will be able to interact with the various key players in the art world.

This programme features the partnership of CANON, which supplies the equipment, and MILANO STUDIO, which will host workshops and internships.

This programme is intended for photography enthusiasts and professionals who would like to start or learn more about a career in photography.

The goal of this Executive Education course is to explore digital photography through the professions that are associated with it, some of which are totally new (e-commerce photography), and some of which are a new interpretation of pre-existing professions. In any case, the only thing they have in common is the framing of the shot and the click of the shutter. The programme will begin with a module meant to guide students in the use of new means of photography, from the moment a photo is taken to delivering the final product. Afterwards, thanks to courses that will examine both the theory and practice of photography, students will explore all the facets of the various professions in the field of photography, with a focus on the concrete job opportunities that await them in the working world.
