FOR ALL STUDENTS

How to apply

  • Preliminary evaluation of qualifications
    Send us the following documents via email (admission@iulm.it) so that we can determine whether you are eligible for admission to IULM courses:
    • High school diploma or certification that you are enrolled in the last year of high school
    • Italian and/or English language certificate
    • Other relevant documentation (YKS, Selectividad, Vestibular, Gao Kao, Konkur…) if required
    • Passport / ID
    • CV
    • Motivation letter in English or Italian

If the original documents are in a language that is not spoken in the Admissions Office, you may be required to provide a certified Italian translation.

  • Confirmation of eligibility
    The Admissions Office will get back to you within 10 business days in order to confirm that you are eligible
  • Test registration
    Register for the test by clicking on IULM University online services portal. You will be asked to pay a 120 euros application fee
  • Admission/Assessment Test
    Remote testing options are available
  • Online enrolment
    Once you receive confirmation that you can enrol, you can complete the process by clicking on IULM University online services portal
  • Payment
    To confirm your enrolment, please pay the first instalment,

  • Acceptance letter
    The Admissions Office will send you an official letter that you must present to the Italian consular authorities in your country of residence.

Please note: “Preliminary acceptance by Universities does not substitute in any case the actual pre-enrolment to the course, which happens anyway only and exclusively upon the release of a visa on the part of diplomatic-consular Missions (Part III), while confirming that the suitability evaluation procedures of the foreign qualifications necessary for entry to the courses are the exclusive jurisdiction of the university institutions.”

  • Pre-enrolment request

You must submit your pre-enrolment request to the Italian consular authorities in the period that runs from mid-February until the end of July.

Payment of the first instalment may be refunded upon request only if the Italian consular authorities deny your student visa.

  • Italian test

If you are not in possession of an official, valid certificate that proves you have at least a B2 level of the Italian language, you will have to take an Italian test. Remote testing options are available.

 

DEADLINES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-2020

  • It is currently possible to submit your qualifications for a preliminary evaluation of eligibility.
  • We recommend that non-EU students and students residing outside of Italy submit their application by May 31st.
