Tuition and fees

International students pay flat-rate tuition but can benefit from a set of financial aid and scholarship opportunities designed to support their academic endeavours.

A flat tuition rate applies to EU and non-EU international students living outside Italy, or students with Italian citizenship or dual citizenship living outside Italy, provided that the student’s household has foreign source of income and assets.

This rate is relevant to full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree courses for the 2019/2020 academic year.

The total amounts indicated in the tables below do not include a regional fee, which is currently equal to € 140, and a revenue stamp that is currently equal to € 16.

Undergraduate degrees

Financial Aid

IULM University shall provide a 50% reduction in first-year tuition and fees to the most talented candidates:

- 50% reduction in tuition and fees for the first year of coursework during the 2019/2020 academic year. This reduction shall be provided to the first 10 students who enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree course for the 2019/2020 academic year. Eligible candidates must have graduated from a foreign high school with a final grade of at least 70 out of 100 (calculated using the formula provided by the Ministry of Education, University and Research).

- 50% reduction in tuition and fees for the first year of coursework during the 2019/2020 academic year. This reduction shall be provided to the first 20 students who enroll full-time in a two-year master’s degree course for the 2019/2020 academic year. Eligible candidates must have graduated with a final grade of at least 80 out of 110 at a foreign university.

DSU Regional Scholarships

Any student (regardless of nationality and residence status) can apply for Regional Scholarships.
The student can benefit from:

- partial tuition refund (50% to be reimbursed one year after enrolment)

- grant up to approx. € 4,500 in two instalments

- free access to meal services for lunch


Eligibility is determined on the basis of merit and economic requirements.

Accommodation

To meet any accommodation requests on the part of students, 10 beds shall be reserved in IULM University’s Residence Halls at a special price of € 280,00/month. Of these 10 beds, 5 shall be reserved for students enrolled in the 1st year of an undergraduate degree course during the 2019/2020 academic year, while the other 5 shall be reserved for students enrolled in the 1st year of a two-year master’s degree course during the 2019/2020 academic year (full-time courses only).
