Course objectives
This Master’s degree course has two main objectives: on one hand to provide organisational competencies, and on the other to provide marketing and communication skills for exploiting local resources and food and wine systems.

The course participants will look in depth at the promotion of production activities, and the sale and management of food and wine products.  They will also acquire the theoretical bases for the planning, management and dissemination of events connected with Food & Wine, through the integration of specific knowledge about communication and marketing processes and the cultural sensitivity and knowledge of the value of the synergy between culture, food and territory.

In order to achieve these objectives the Master’s course will develop the participants’ knowledge of cultural, social and historical processes connected with the consumption of food and wine; the psychosocial and anthropological principles connected with Italian and international gastronomy, as well as knowledge of merchandising and wine tasting techniques.

The course will also provide in-depth study of promotion, communication and networking for the cultural and historical exploitation of agricultural and food products, their transformation and, in general, the food and wine resources of the territory.
