IULM Residence has 14 places for foreign students coming from partner universities (Erasmus or Exchange)

University Hall of Residence accommodation
Students will stay in 20 m2  twin rooms, furnished with 2 beds, 2 wardrobes, 2 desks, a bookshelf and satellite TV. Each room has a private bathroom. Students will be provided with sheets and blankets. The common area of the Residence provides: TV room, computer room with Internet connection, coin laundry. The rent is 400.00 € per month plus a cautionary deposit of 500.00 €. The cautionary deposit will be given back when leaving the room. IULM Residence Hall will be closed during summer and winter breaks.

Exchange students wishing to apply for accommodation must fill out the Accommodation Form they will find here below during the nomination periods:

  • first semester or academic year: from June 16th to June 30th.
    The accommodation form will be available at this link from June 16th at 3.00 p.m. Italy time Zone (CET time):

  • second semester: from November 16th to November 30th

We will contact the applicants on a first come, first served basis and will give them further instructions on how to confirm the reservation.

We will support only those applications received before the deadlines and priority is given to students coming from our partner Universities. Due to organizational reasons Visiting students will not be admitted at the University Residence.

After receiving confirmation of the availability of the room by the Study Abroad Office, the applicant will have to pay € 500,00 of cautionary deposit to confirm the room. Places will be assigned to the first 14 applications. Places will be confirmed after receiving a copy of the bank transfer by email (

Due to organizational reasons, students staying in the residence should abide to fixed arrival and departure dates.

The Study Abroad Office does not provide support for finding accommodation on the private rented market. Students are invited to contact providers of private accommodation directly.
