IULM International Office assist exchange students in finding an accommodation for their stay in Milan.

 Exchange students wishing to apply for accommodation must fill out the Accomodation Form and send it to the International Office by e-mail ( or by fax (+39-02-89141.2266).

The Accomodation Form must be sent to the International Office no later than:

  • first semester or academic year: June 30th (available on line as of  June 15th)
  • second semester: November 30th (available online as of November 15th).

We will contact the applicants on a first come, first served basis and will give them further instructions on how to confirm the reservation. We will support only those applications received before the deadlines and priority is given to students coming from our partner Universities.

Due to organizational reasons Visiting students will not be admitted at the University Residence.

University Hall of Residence accommodation
Limited number of places at the University Residence Hall are available to Erasmus and Exchange students. Students will stay in 20 m2  twin rooms, furnished with 2 beds, 2 wardrobes, 2 desks, a bookshelf and satellite TV. Each room has a private bathroom. Students will be provided with sheets and blankets. The common area of the Residence provides: TV room, computer room with Internet connection, coin laundry.

The rent is 400.00 € per month plus a cautionary deposit of 800.00 €. The cautionary deposit will be given back when leaving the room. IULM Residence Hall will be closed during summer and winter breaks.

Private accommodation
To all the applicants who send the Accommodation form and to all those who will not have a place assigned in the University Residence Hall, the International Office will propose a private accommodation.

The International Office responsibility in this matter is limited to putting in touch the applicants with the owners of private accommodations.
